Portfolio homes asked us to design a high quality sleek design for their exhibition stand at the NEC’s Spring Fair 2020. The stand needed to carry their multiple product ranges. We maximised the tight floor space by creating free standing display units that could carry multiple related bedding and homeware products. We think the stand looks great and the show was a great success. Also pictured back right is an automated curtain rail, opening and closing the curtains at the click of an App.
MSC exhibiting at Multimodal, hosted at the Birmingham NEC, this year expanded their stand space by almost 50%. They wanted to create a stand that not only made a splash but also incorporated more practically several additional private meeting spaces. Continuing our successful partnership with Axios we created a brand new design for them incorporating all the elements that made 2018 a great success into a completely different stand space. The stand incorporates 4 demonstration stations, a theatre area, meeting room, reception and informal seating whilst maintaining an open and inviting feel to maximise footfall. It was a pleasure to work with the guys at Axios again and we can’t wait to hear the challenge they will set us in 2020!
Prase Italy’s largest distributor of Audio, Visual and digital signage applications and technology approached Astro Exhibitions to design and build their stand at ISE in Amsterdam’s RAI. Their brief was to create a truly stylish stand that would allow them to invite all their European partners for meetings and hospitality and demonstrate one of their largest and most cutting edge screens. Prase were a pleasure to work with and the project was a great success. Based in Venice, Prase trusted Astro to design and build their stand and we worked tirelessly to ensure that no detail was too small in order to deliver a truly great customer experience and more importantly, a great stand.
Polypipe is one of Europe’s largest manufacturers of piping, water and climate management systems. Exhibiting at the Futurebuild exhibition in London’s Excel, Polypipe wanted to make their key message sustainability and the various ways in which they manage their environmental responsibilities. The stand design featured several visitor attractions including a mosaic screen that offered a really unique visitor experience. Astro, working alongside SLG in Manchester developed this beautiful stand design that wowed our client as well as the shows attendees.
BTMA is the British Trade Association for UK manufacturing companies producing precision turned parts and machined components. Astro were asked to design and deliver their flagship stand at Techtextil the worlds leading Textile trade show in Frankfurt. The stand featured booths for 13 of the associations members plus hospitality and meeting space for the organisation. The stand was designed and delivered to the highest possible standard and looked fantastic with a crisp white finish throughout that really allowed the individual brands to shine.
IT service management software providers Axios systems wanted to make a splash at SITS 2018 at London Olympia. They asked Astro to design and build a stand that could really turn heads and we were really pleased to present them with our design based on an inverted pyramid to match their logo and branding. The stand integrated several IT demonstration and presentation areas on a relatively small space without sacrificing the imposing and spectacular look Axios requested. A deceptively clever design.
Chinese cultural investment group Usunhome asked us to install their exhibition stand at the British Travel and Tourism show at Birmingham’s NEC. The stand although simple in construction, was finished to a very high standard and attracted a lot of attention. The bespoke inlayed back lit logo featured on their reception desk was particularly impressive. It was a pleasure to work with the guys at Usunhome and we feel we made some good friends during the process.
MSC the world’s third biggest shipping company asked us to design and build this stunning stand at Multimodal 2017 and again in 2018. The stand features 2 x bespoke private meeting areas, hospitality, AV and an eye catching large format graphic of the front of one of their shipping containers. Almost looks real doesn’t it?
Leading marketing software developers Netrefer asked us to create for them an imposing stand design for ICE 2017. Key to their vision was a space where they could welcome their guests creating a Formula 1 VIP lounge to create a true brand experience. As you can see, they were not disappointed!
We were given the great pleasure to design and build Royal Caribbean cruises flagship exhibition stand at the Destinations show both in Manchester and in London. The stand was used primarily as a sales space and to launch RCC’s new marketing campaign “This is how to holiday”.
Expanding software company Affinity demonstrated their award winning creative software at the Photography show in 2016. Demonstrations and presentations were crucial and so a stylish visitor friendly area was created inside the stand.
A small space can create a large impact. AHC who had previously used shell scheme but that creating a design that was hard to miss allowed this 6m x 6m space to be very effective though surrounded by larger stands. Isn’t it time that you came out of your shell?!
Lucite/Perspex international is the global leader in the design, development and manufacture of acrylic-based products. We were asked to design and build a demonstration “Lab” style exhibition stand to showcase their exciting new range of diffuse and edge acrylic products at the Light and build show at Frankfurt Messe. The stand was a great success and we feel it demonstrates what can be achieved in a relatively small space with the right design.
Schraders decided to return to Lux Live in 2016 to launch a brand new lighting and public information system called Shuffle.
We designed a stand to showcase Michelin’s commercial vehicle tyres for this global brand, and it was essential that Astro reflected their brand values and corporate styling in the colour schemes.
When it comes to the UK market, SONY Pictures leave it to us! Based in Los Angeles, the brand entrusted us for their SONY Pictures exhibition stand at Brand Licensing. We build for them in London when they attend, placing complete trust in our hands.
Smaller stands are often best suited to a well-established brand such as Casio. We are immensely proud to consistently create new and innovative designs for this customer, making use of limited space to showcase a large range of products.
We designed this stand for Japanese company Mitsui, for meetings only at a major oil and gas industry show in Korea. We have also created a new exhibition stand design to be built in Singapore.
Scotch whiskey is an iconic product, and this stand was designed to show off the luxury brand owned by Whyte & Mackay. The stand included a whiskey bottle that was an exact replica of that taken by Shackleton to the Antarctic.
Having a good understanding of local organisations is particularly important in Italy. We enjoy working in Bologna each year, producing innovative stand design at Cosmoprof, Europe’s leading hairdressing exhibition.
The Takara Belmont stand for this show was really two designs in one, allowing two different product ranges to be showcased to good effect.
We constructed a large stand for meetings and hospitality at Ecobuild 2013. The concept was repeated at smaller shows around the country.
This stand continually receives many positive comments, highlighting how good design never goes out of fashion.
Our brief was to create an exhibition stand design that would suit both private and pre-arranged meetings, and this large exhibition booth was the result. The client wanted to achieve maximum impact, and the large fascias and graphics were designed to achieve this goal. Angles and curves were intelligently used to add interest to the whole structure.
A lot of products had to go onto this stand, which presented a real challenge. Loxley awarded us the build for 2015 and this stand was a big step forward in terms of design and presentation. It will be re-installed in 2016.
Cambridge University Press has awarded Astro a three year contract to build at BETT, London and Frankfurt Book Fairs. A modular style stand will allow us to re-use the same stand elements at each location.
This new company realised the importance of exhibitions, and took the decision to exhibit at the Ideal Home exhibition very early in their history.
Incorporating a running water supply in an exhibition stand design is always a challenge. Takara showcased a head spa at Salon International, which required a boiler and fully plumbed hot and cold water. The result was well worth the work, as they were able to demonstrate the value of their product to exhibition stand visitors, and help them to relax at the same time!
We created a bright stand for IFSEC, and provided access to screens in order to promote the security systems that Inner Range manufacture.
This was created for the exhibition associated with the Hair Dressing World Championships, and showcased Takara Belmont salon furniture in a top quality salon environment. The use of high specification finishes resulted in an exemplary exhibition stand design, which demonstrated the value of paying close attention to detail.
Road surfaces are important to us all, and Hitex products help keep the roads smooth. This exhibition stand design and build also went smoothly, and Hitex have asked us to build again next time.
We built for ECSC for the first time at IFSEC in 2015. Through the use of strategically placed graphics, we were able to fulfill their request for an exhibition stand design that was instantly visible.

We have worked with Belmont at the BDIA for over ten years. These chairs make a trip to the dentist a comfortable and more relaxing experience. We sprayed the wave material with high gloss paint, and with well-placed lighting, the stand really sparkled.
